Nice work mate. The Maguires clay is ok, but its very fine and as such wont remove 'all' the contaminates. Get your self some bilt hamber clay, out of all the clays i have ever used I found it to be the best out there, and it only needs water as a lube not QD.

^^^ cheers mate, will look into that ... on the lower doors and skirts there's still contaminants so it defo didn't remove em all so could do with a stronger clay

Re. Fairy Lights ... I'm not the biggest fan, but as theyr not offensive and have been well built in to the car I've been in no big rush to remove ... But ideally I'd like to build the S6 OEM DRL's into the lower bumper where the fogs are ...

Interesting, I found Megs quite a course clay and quite harsh. I use 3M which is very effective but does not scratch the painwork like Megs can.

This is very picture heavy but the results are truly mental, it should give you the best idea on how to keep you're arches chip free.

It does show how they got rid of all the scratches and marring, look again!

If you want to fix stone chips as opposed to keeping your arches looking good as the OP asked. Then try this:

I know you'd be attacking your paint with flatblocked wet & dry but it's highly recommended if you're getting/doing a paint correction detail anyways.
