Yes i would say you should ask for more... but this time of year isnt good for the 2nd market, i was just lucky to sell to quickly really.

I would say price yours around £19,000 - 19,595, maybe even £19,995, do some market reasearch and check out the autotrader site, price yours in between others and try to have a website made up like i did, i used my url in the advert and it did get alot of visits.

Put ad`s on forums and keep the information simple and to the point.

I also sold mine this week to the first viewer and had 2 people in reserve if it fell through. I priced it realistically for a quickish sale and was pleasantly suprised when it sold in 2 days.
For a £15 Autotrader ad, you can't go wrong. The car depreciated just over £1000 a year.

Its not too bad as i work not far from home.... didnt expect to sell my S3 so quickly to be honest. I cant wait but can wait if you know what i mean.... definately want it on a new 04 plate [img]images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

Well i put ad`s on the forums and made a page on my website giving good level of detail and pictures of the car.

I thank did a Auto Trader Ad over the web, £45 for 2-3weeks of ad.

The ad was published on the Auto Trader site late sunday night... had loads of calls from then onwards..... the sat following someone came to view the car and left a deposit and this wednesday it went to the new owner [img]images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]

In my eyes it sold pretty quickly for this time of year..... cant wait to get the bling [img]images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

And what i also did was put my website in capitals on the advert [img]images/graemlins/roflmao.gif[/img] managed to get away with it too...

£15 Autotrader 2 week web only advert. Only had the ad up for 3 days!
Whack it in and see what response you get. Micronet Showroom were hassling me to sell as well, looked like they would have gone to the price I got privately aswell - that's what they said anyway.

local dealer is currently offering me £19650 but are quietly telling me I should get £21k privately ( dealers seem to be asking about £22990 for the year and spec - bet the are not getting it though !)
I think that is too much. I'd probably accept £19995 now or a bit less if in a months time.
