Could anybody highlight what the WD 'rs246' warranty doesn't cover compared to Audi Warranty please?

No significant differences that I can work out - and nearly £1k cheaper!
Has anyone tried to make a claim with WD? Any issues?

I'd be interested to know the answer to that last question too. In my experience even getting stuff past Audi Warranty (Mondial or whoever they are) is a right chore!

Do rs246 members get a discount with Warranty Direct?

Have a look on page 6 of this thread - sums the WD policy up and the possibility of a few extra ££ off for recommending a friend.

Mate of mine has just tried to claim on his WD policy and wouldn't pay out, they used the pre-existing condition get-out option.
The (lengthy) outcome was they refunded all of the price his cover
