Morning...
I been having some thoughts of late about respaying my Polar Silver RS. The reason for this is that I have just had the wings resprayed after getting rid of some bubbling rot under the wheel arches. The front bumper was also done when I bought the car. The up shot is that even though the spray jobs were really very good in certain lights I can see some subtle differences in the paint. There are also some paint chips on the bonnet and some minor surface scratches. I was thinking about getting a full detail and paint correction done and while expensive I do love this car.
Thing is I always liked white cars and a friend of mine runs probably the best vehicle wrapping business in the country and so I could get a vinyl wrap colour change. Has anyone seen a solid white RS2 before? Bonus points are no expensive respray, current paint would be protected, and also if completely hideous I could alway have it removed after the winter months. I have no garage at the moment so she's living outside. The car that is not the wife...

Cheers

'Polar' White RS2
Silver is one of the hardest colours to match. You will be able to see the shade difference unless it is blown into the next panel and then clear coated over (thats what ive been told). As for the vinyl wrap in white i think there is a picture of a pearl white one on here somewhere and that looked quite good.
As long as the paint isnt damaged when you remove the wrap i say go for it.
