I wont be helping anymore. It looks like misquoting by Arthur has actually made it's way to Audi Germany, then Audi Australia and finally the dealer. This is all I can say at this stage other than to say Arthur has succeeded in stopping the flow of information.

Care to share what exactly you sent to Audi? & why you felt it necessary to send them anything as an ordinary member of public?

as an owner, I wanted to see if that was true...it's a bold claim

he accused me of being a 'plant' or something...I said, yea, they pay me $300,000 to surf the web...lol, or something to that effect...

I have no contracts with Audi
I have no relationship other than I bought an Audi

Audi told him it was oil realted...

he caused his own grief...
one can't post crap and not expect someone to attempt to verify it...
especially something that may affect 100's of 1000's of engines: Audi, BMw, etc.

As an avid fan of the RS4, of course you were seeking the truth. Did you also ask about them about the DRC situation for at present in your estimation it does not affect any cars in the US, but it is a worldwide issue.

What extra information/comments did you send to Audi? Care to share?
