not clear on this: does this set codes for 'lamp out'?

yes, if there is a "lamp out" it will show in the display. But not for a single LED , it will be for the complete cluster. In other words, the rear tail light (main cluster) ,fog light (boot cluster) or the rear break light (again half of mani cluster).ArthurPE wrote:I second that motion...P_G wrote:Any chance of a group buy / discount for us RS4 owners then since you have found our forum and you are getting great press on here?www.bm-town.com wrote:We'll be putting some brand new (Style 3) strip style LED rear lights for the Avant on our site this week, in the following colours:

so if all is working properly the led assemblies won't set a check lamp...17-APG wrote: yes, if there is a "lamp out" it will show in the display. Same here, night time shots not good but the lights are very bright in night time. Just a pity the complete rear cluster do not double up as brake lightsmark758 wrote:Thanks Arthur - very pleased with them![]()
My camera (or me!) don't do justice to nightime shots, either showing the lights as brighter or darker than the eye sees them, they look superb in reality and mimic the existing lamp set up![]()

if I had a lamp I could figure out what it would take to make the running lights come on with the brake lights...
I'm guessing just a single diode would do it...allowing flow from the brake led lead to the running lights, but not in reverse...
if someone had a basic schematic on the assemble: how many leads, their function, etc.
