It seems that we all agree its a good idea to have a meet up.
I've posted on AS.net that we make it a joint venture between the two forums, we'll call it a RS246-Audi-Sport-North East meet. (Hope the mods dont mind )
It seems like the right thing to do as there are only a few of us and the more the merrier.
Plus there are a few of us that use both forums anyway.

Are we settled on the Ramside then? Does anyone have any objections / other ideas?

What about a date / time any ideas?

bass - I'm ok with the Saturday, but I know Lee from as.net is away until the 24th, the 25th would be better for him.

Plus some people get roped into going shopping with the missus on a Saturday

Anyone else have any preference on what day??

Just a thought guys, Warden Law Karting centre (outdoor) is only 10mins down the road from the Ramside on the A690/A19 junction. Anyone up for a half hour race either before or after the meet?

Up to now we have for the karting :-

Am I going to have to kick their butts all on my own?

Come on lads!! We could with a few more from rs246 to show them what's what.

:chicken:

I called Warden Law earlier this week to see the availabilty they had on Sunday 25th and what times they ran at. I presumed that anyone interested would want to go for a race (15 min practice/qualify + 30 min race) rather than the arrive and drive 20 min practice session?

They could fit a race session in mid morning, lunchtime or early afternoon.

I'm all up for discount, ask Jam to see what he can do? I'll ask see if I can drum up a few more bodies this w/e.

Ok so what time to meet? I was thinking sometime before it gets dark (so we can see the cars!) How about 3pm and doing the karting before, say 1.30 meet at W/L? Whatever suits everyone really I'm free all day.

Once we confirm the numbers for the Karting, I'll PM Jam so he can try and sort out some disco.

So if I'm reading this right - (trying to keep two forums on the go)

If we meet up at Warden law at 13:30, do the Karting session, then move onto the Ramside for a good look around the cars and a beer for a 15:00 meet.
That way anyone who doesnt fancy the Karting, or cant make it that early may be able to come along the the 15:00 meet at the Ramside.

Sounds good to me.

Can you all post up if this is ok for you. That way I can update the list and confirm the times etc.
