Just had service, No milage indicator for next one?????

Post by bluenosewrx » Tue Jul 06, 2010 7:00 pm

As above, had the car serviced yesterday(Edinburgh Audi) on the longlife one as thats what its had before and i reckon i will only do 4-5k max a year, got it for £257.99 as they price matched the local specialist.

However on the DIS when you press the spanner button it just has dashes, is there something i need to do or will it sort itself out after a few miles.

Thanks in advance.

Why on eart does it take itself that long to sort itself out? No wonder people ask eh? Its the first thing many people do so they can figure out how long they have to save up for the next one lol

It uses the time to collect data on your driving style and then makes and assessment / prediction on when your next service will need to be.

If you drive it nicely then it may give you more time.

Bluenosewrx,
I intend to buy an RS4 (B7) within next 2 -3 months (probably) through Edinburgh Audi. How do you find their service?

Apologies for off-topic.
