No, I believe it's exactly the same except the R8 is aluminium and the exhaust sounds like God just woke up and realised his RS4 had been stolen in the night. Go try one, I'd have the R8 V10 though.

Are you just fishing bro - you knew that right?

my point was the revised engine produces an extra 10ps over the quoted RS 4 ... Just wondered if there were any revisions or just software ?

mac, I can't remember when we were there if they said they would or would not be building a V8 Spyder; can you? It may be the only way of boosting V8 sales given most of the current production is V10 based?

4.2 spyder has been confirmed for German market for Q3 with 430PS

Not sure if Audi UK will follow suit, I would imagine they would once the halo effect is over...

Ps. I'll be back with a '4 Cabrio ;-)

No mention of a V8 Spyder...in fact I can't even remember seeing a V8 on the whole production line.

The only car that was possibly different to the 'normal' V10's was the one in an earlier state of production in Orange. That wasn't a GT?

The only reason I say that, is that one of the standard colours for the GT is Samoa Orange.

I think it was because the internal construction was different as well.
