I ordered these:Audi A4 (B7) Saloon Red/Smoked LED rear lights. £289; the ones with the LED clusters. These look like the LEDS on the A8; the other ones which I dont prefer look like the lights on the B8 version of A4. In other words the LEDs are a single long strip within the housing. I think the ones I ordered are a better suit for the RS4 (IMHO).

Just to confirm is that the first or second style on the BM page and did you order from that website? :)
One style has the LEDs spread over the whole lens vs the B8 strip effect?
Think red/smoked is a definite.
I keep looking at that clear/smoked set for a Phantom black car....I know it's wrong lol

I ordered style number 2and, on the lot od 6 photos it was the middle one of the top row, the red/smoked. I ordered directly on their website. I much prefer the cluster of leds instead of the strip. The strip looks too much lik ethe current A4 and I think is not is sync with the RS4. By the looks of these lights they seem similar to thoise on the old A8. and I think the clear usnits is not for the RS4, just too boy racer for such a great car!!

No sign yet guys although I have had an email from the guy stating that I will have them "soon". Kinda makes me think they are making them when an order is receicved. Would like to get for this wknd cause my RS is currently in garage getting new front/rear dampers fitted under good will warranty. Whn I get it back at wknd it will seem like getting the car new all over again!!
As soon as I get the lights I will post a few pics of them in raw state and will also let you know my real thoughts on them and how well they are made. Then, when I get them fitted maybe a few shots of them working :-)

They arrived this morning and on a quick look I have to hae they look good and well made (and I am picky!!). Seems simple to install as well. As you will see in some of the pics it looks like the "bulb endings" simply plug into the wiring loom bulb holders. Will try to get time to fit this weekend and take a few shots of them working :-)

How easy are the tailgate ones to remove? I can see how to do the body panel ones.

Having just changed the number plate light housing/boot handle, gaining access by taking the tailgate trim panel off is a piece of cake - just prise away a dozen or so metal retaining studs and voila! Should be very doable for us I think.
