Brake Discs

Is it true that you can only get standard discs for the RS6? Spoke to someone at Venom Motorsports today and they claimed no one manufactures discs other than Audi.....

Actually Eddie ( and we don't disagree on much if anything) Movit do a brake kit for the RS6, but they are eleventy billion quid.

Mov'it do big brake kits both front and rear. Stoptec callipers will fit on the rear (sans hand brake function). According to Grizz, the C6 rear disc can be fettled to fit on the C5 rear. I think Sportec do C5 RS brakes too but they're 380mm and probably 8 pots, no doubt cost the earth.
I've got C6 RS 390 front discs and 6 pot callipers fitted to the front of my C5 RS. Now they're broken-in they are truly bonkers, they'll break your neck and slam your head in your lap.

I was stomping on them relentlessly and I'd hazard a guess my frail and meek DRC couldn't handle the punishment those huge brakes were dishing out.

IIRC - I think he meant Mov'it do an OEM spec fit. Meaning Audi aren't the only ones to make discs for the C5 RS. Although, I could be wrong.... Yup, I was. I'll get me coat.

Mov'it do a 370x35 disc for the C5 RS, not sure if that's a straight fit though. The OEM is 365x33.

Yep that's interesting too.

Back to the other thing, if the disc is lying flat on the ground, what is it's height, as opposed to diameter and thickness?
