Canadian GP promises to be really good, with 3 world champions in the 1st 5, and 2 worthy contenders in position 2 & 3.

Country Driver Qualifying Time
1 great britain L Hamilton 1:15.105
2 australia M Webber 1:15.373
3 germany S Vettel 1:15.420
4 spain F Alonso 1:15.435
5 great britain J Button 1:15.520
6 italy V Liuzzi 1:15.648
7 brazil F Massa 1:15.688
8 poland R Kubica 1:15.715
9 germany A Sutil 1:15.881
10 germany N Rosberg 1:16.071

Force India could surprise if it's a race of attrition.

$10k fine for Hamilton....

Surely that will encourage other teams to pull the same prank, unless the FIA say something about it pronto.

If I ran a low ranking team, I would do it - what a lot of publicity for $10k.

Great race, great result with the 3 world champions on the podium.

And the contenders not that far behind. Competitive F1 is back.

Agreed - best race for a long time, and not because of changing weather or Safety Cars...

That's a good point -weather, safety cars, team orders/interference, fuel strategy all irrelevant.

Tyre strategy made it a bit thrilling - just imagine if they mandated no tyre changes (unless it starts to rain, or stops raining) too to prevent pit incidents.

The way it looks now, tomorrow's race does not promise much. A procession is on the cards, but do hope it is not.

Worked out OK with the safety car. Vettel is rattled and that gives Webber a good chance at the championship.
