something is wrong, both parts can be.... how can i differ?
or are they the same thing?
part numbers of n75 and bypass pls
app. prices?
thnx
how to understand if it n75 or bypass valve?
Re: how to understand if it n75 or bypass valve?
Bypass part no 034 145 710 A
Wastegate frequency valve (N75) 034 906 283 K
Both cost around 70-80€ in Finland I think. If bypass is gone, get a Forge to replace it. DV006 closed loop does fit RS2, I have one in mine. It is more reliable than stock, and can be serviced. Forge web site DV006

Even better and cheaper bypass valve is the S3 upgraded part, part number 06A 145 710N. They are a lot more reliable that the old ones (I've installed one in a 360 HP/600Nm RS2 and 1 year afterwards it's still working ok) and they are dirt cheap at ~30 Euros each.

Re: how to understand if it n75 or bypass valve?
BPV is between turbo and IC, behind and below left driving light, behind the bumper, black plastic thingy, which has no wires but 3 hoses, 1 small and 2 bigger ones. Unless it is a Forge, in which case it is a shiny aluminium thingy...
Easiest way to get to it is by removing the left light and air intake plastics, there it is. The other option is from below, then you need to take off the engine cover at least.

Pick one, I'd start from N75, more likely for erratic behaviour you described.
