Does a RS4 B6 air filter fit on a B7????

Hello everyone!

Can someone tell me if a B6 air filter will fit on a B7???

I'm currently looking to buy a pipercross performance air filter but if anyone knows a better one please let me know.

Irrelevant question, since there is no such thing as a B6 RS4.

B5 RS4 - yes.

B6 RS4 - never existed.

B7 RS4 - yes.

Or if an advert says Audi RS4 4.2 air filter 2005 - onwards does this fit a B7 RS4??

(This might be obvious to most but I'm being extra careful)

yes RS4 came out from 2005

Are you buying a panel filter or a cold air intake kit, as you might actually lose power with the CAI kit if it hasn't been designed correctly.

If you're having problem finding teh panel filter, you can use the ones that are listed as Audi A4 B7 2.0T. If you check the K&N website, both panel filter for the 2.0T and the B7 RS4 is the same.
