My old RS4 is back on the market

Post by 88wiff » Sun May 09, 2010 10:50 pm

I was doing a bit of car browsing and just thought i would take a look at the prices of the RS4's to see how they are doing just purely out of interest, i defined my internet search to a similar spec vehicle that matched my old one and came across my old car which i spec'd and had brand new on Sep 1st 2007. I have to say the price (in my opinion) has held up quite well:

It still looks nice! If any future buyer should crop up on here then they should drop me a line, as i have some great photos of the day it was brand new and collected from Leicester Audi sitting outside the showroom which my be of interest to any future enthusiast owner of this car.

I'm currently contemplating moving back into Audi ownership with the possible purchase of a RS6 Avant (i'll keep you posted)

funny isnt it....i used to have a TT quattro Sport....i traded it into Docklands Audi 2 years ago and it has 10k on the clock

And guess what, found out its now for sale at Coulson Audi now, with only 10.4k on the clock!!

400 miles in two years!

bit fishy if you ask me!

Dealers are the biggest culprits when it comes to clocking cars.
Hence their usual getout clause on every sales invoice: Recorded mileage cannot be relied upon as Actual mileage ;)

I came across this phenomenon a few years ago. I sold a 997 privately and then saw it on Pistonheads 18 months later with only a few hundred more miles on it. Made me want to ring the dealer up and do some fishing, but the bloke I sold it to was a big one.

Do it. They're great. Had mine nearly 4 months now and still beam like a Cheshire Cat every time I look at it.
