Filled up today at end of long journey. Let the pump run till full, and then nearly fell over when I glanced at the pump £100.04 for a tank of petrol!

Still, I suppose £100 for three to four hours of fun isn't that bad

You have to get a Shell Drivers Club card and buy V-Power like its going out of fashion. After 3 months (and if you bought enough) they'll send you a V-Power card and you'll get double points. I had £12 off last time i got my vouchers.

Ha ha.. for about a year, i frequently filled 2 or three times a week when I had my 6 at around £200 to £250 a week... and a good amount of that was private mileage. I think work would put bamboo shoots under my finger nails if I was now putting in £300+ a week.
