Hmmm would like to have a drive, but...
i agree...
i have been known in the past to have the weakness "i can make this a really good example" - and i got burnt every time..!!
i bought a mk2 16v golf a few years back, thinking it just needs a little tlc..turned out it was all totally fecked - i reckon it must have been an ex-race school car or something...60k miles and clutch, gearbox, driveshafts, shockers, brakes were all knackered.
only myself to blame - if i'm buying for a friend i'm very choosy, but sometimes i lose it when buying for myself....!!

to give this sale a sense of reality, this rs6 was sold by fontain only a year ago..
surely, fontain would be careful about the quality of audi they would sell on to the public...

In the last ad he says:
It's all a bit confused. But at least the mileage hasn't gone down since april
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/AUDI-RS6-OETTINGE ... 3cab87e8f3I bought this car large main dealership, who supplied it to its last owner in January. Stratstone sold the car and the customer returned it to them due to an issue with the gearbox. Statstone aka Pendragon, sold the car to me and did not mention this issue to me, there is a problem with the input shaft bearing on the gearbox and under full boost it loses pressure from the box... I might have got that wrong, but in essence WE WILL BE FITTED A COMPLETELY REBUILT GUARANTEED GEARBOX TO THIS CAR
