65,000 mile/seven year service
Need to have the car serviced and was wondering what should be done on a 7 year service (65k miles) and how much you would expect to pay at a main dealer (or should I go to a good independent)?
Thanks
James

RE: 65,000 mile/seven year service
Just had this reply from Victoria Audi:
The £655 includes the replacement of the oil & filter, air filter, fuel filter and pollen filter.
The spark plugs are an additional £275.
Audi’s recommendations for cambelt replacements has changed in recent years for all models and for the RS6 it is now every 60k miles or 4 years, which ever comes first and we charge £1,500
Time to go elsewhere?

Seems very expensive for filters + oil.
What was done at the last service? That will dictate what needs to be done now.

Had filters, fluids and sparks done last year (60,0000 miles). Cambelt done at 42,000.....might have to go and see Doug and Lucas at MRC for a full health check. Is it worth getting the gearbox serviced?
