Guys - what fuel do you run your RS4's on? Ive read threads that mention Tesco 99, Shell Optimax, BP? Just wanted to get your opinion on what you think is best?

Ditto but Tesco rewads for filling up are better than V-Power and often 1p per litre cheaper.

Every little helps!.

I do not think it matters as long as you use a busy site.

Totally agree. Higher octane retained at busier stations.

My local Tesco is usually extremely busy, so tend to go there now for T99. That plus all the clubcard points and it's a winner. Car seems a lot quicker on it too.

Thanks chaps - what does super cost now since the rise in fuel duty - family car is a Volvo XC70 and noticed that on BP Ultimate Diesel its now £1.29 a litre - Im guessing that Optimax and T99 similar price? Local garage is BP - can I run on their Ultimate Unleaded as the nearest Shell is 25 miles away and Tesco 15 miles.

Tescos 99, 123.9 per litre (Aberdeen), 1 mile exactly from pump to drive and added bonus of clubcard points which eventually get converted to BA miles.

Better roads too and an irony because most of the Shell refineries are down near you?

my first three fill up have been with Shell V-power... Barclaycard are running their new reward scheme and if you fill up 3 times at shell you get an extra 5% dragback to spend.

i'll try tescos 99 next week.

On my 335D I found BP ultimate to be the worst of the premium diesels (but smoother than normal diesel) with the total excellence returning best MPG.
economy is more like thirst now with that glorious V8. But its better than I feared
24.2mpg average for the first 3 fill-ups (OBC said 25.2). someway from the 42 i got in the 335D....best not look.

But the driving experience more than makes up for the extra cost. its like finding you have been driving wearing gardening gloves for the last 3.5 years.
