RE: Re: RE: Buckets vs Recaro

Maybe you can borrow an engine lifting crane next time!
Or just shove her in the back seats . . .

Actually on a plus side for the buckets, you can refuse fat birds a lift home the morning after haha (talking from experience cough cough)
Money can't buy you love, but it can buy you a well sorted racecar

RE: Re: RE: Buckets vs Recaro
Buckets every time - for me an RS is not a proper RS unless it's got buckets and a flat bottom steering wheel.
Take these away and it starts to look like any other s line inside
If you're more worried about comfort and customers then get an A8 or S8

Re: RE: Re: RE: Buckets vs Recaro
Pretty much agree with that. I had the full recaro interior in my 3.0 TDI and I thought the seats were great,- in that car. They just would not be right in an RS4B2DUG wrote:Buckets every time - for me an RS is not a proper RS unless it's got buckets and a flat bottom steering wheel.

I would never consider buyin an A8 or S8 - they epitomise all that is wrong with executive luxo-barges.B2DUG wrote:If you're more worried about comfort and customers then get an A8 or S8
I had 2 S4s before my RS4 and loved the Recaro seats because of their combination of comfort and support. IMHO the buckets go too far down the support route and end up being uncomfortable and unusable for e.g. long European journeys. A performance car SHOULD be both fast AND comfortable IMHO, and that's exactly what an RS4 with Recaros is.
Re: RE: Re: RE: Buckets vs Recaro
Agree wholeheartedly. Same experience here, but only on 1 S4.PetrolDave wrote:

Earlier BMW's with Recaros had the balance right between support & comfort and bolsters easier to navigate. This pic features the optional seat belts.
