Blueflame

Post by SteveCuz » Fri Apr 02, 2010 11:26 pm

How many of you guys have a Blueflame exhaust?

I see a few returned when I do a search.

All seems positive but just wanted to check.

I have an opportunity to get one for free.

No reason why I won't do it but is it simple to get fitted and is the fit good?

I have been on their website but would love if people could post pics here.

I have seen a few pics before of some milteks that sat out really far and looked awful.

My 6 is completely standard and I have kept it that way but getting a system for free is looking very tempting.

Thanks in advance.

Steve

To be honest, from what i can gather they are pretty much identical to the Miltek system. You might get the option to change the tail pipes if you fancy it.

I have one fitted to my old E36 M3, sounds great under load and you get a nice rubble as you take your foot off the pedel and allow the car to slow. The Wife hates it as I go hunting for tunnels to enjoy the sound. :jump: I'm toying with getting one for the 6, coz I loved the sound so much. As your getting it for free then I would go for it, if not then can I have instead? :D Always happy to accept a freebie

Looking forward to it.

Can't think about it until I get my baby back with the suspension sorted.

Any pics or sounds?

Hi Steve, Try this link to Blueflames site..... http://www.blueflameperformance.com/pra ... 3&pageid=6

Couple of vids of RS6 with Blueflame exhaust. I'm sure this exhaust was sold through the forum a couple of months ago. Sounds nice!

Yeah saw the one on their website. As said above tons of videos of the milltek etc so hoping for more of the blueflame.

From what I can gather they seem similar quality but my choice is simple!!

XS-Power do you have some good pics of your wagon?

Really excited to get mine fitted.

Get the suspension to sort first tho.

Do you have yours remapped aswell or just the exhaust?
