Not that far-fetched: I know that an S2/RS2 with the 515bhp conversion is good for 195 mph (315 km/h) and 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 3.5 seconds (proven) [img]images/graemlins/shocked.gif[/img]. This is quite a 'standard' [img]images/graemlins/shocked.gif[/img] conversion offered by several German tuners. I have quite a few copies of Audi-scene Live magazines that feature these motors regularly so that means there are quite a few of them out there. I also know of a few other examples that have taken this a bit further: There was one on www.mobile.de recently that was kicking out over 900PS (with the 300 bhp NOS kit) but this was going for stupid money!! This seller claims 325 km/h on GPS if I managed my blagging of the dutch language correctly. How accurate is GPS at measuring speed with 10m position knowledge?

My guess is that it gets more accurate as the speed is higher but are there any GPS experts out there?

If not I will ask around work on Monday because one of our teams develops GPS systems for spacecraft. Then again, we are more interested in speeds of the order 7km per second for a Low Earth Orbit spacecraft and 10m knowledge is perfect if you are in space at those speeds!!

Also, what is wrong with the car if he only wants 20k euros (~£12k) for this 520 PS beast??? Apart from being LHD for us Brits of course [img]images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

That's what i thought also, quiet cheap...maybe I've to visit him, only 100 km away.....But for that price, you would think there must be something wrong with it...he got alot of extras dvd, tv, playstation..etc...
Must be one of the fastest roadcars in Holland...
