any formula 1 fans in the house? I watched it today, am a huge fan. thought it was pretty good, different and with lots of potential this season. lots of good drivers in competitive cars.

Possibly some of the dullest motorsport I have ever watched - won't be watching anymore unless it's a wet race. It was basically an exercise in tyre managment and fuel conservation - dull dull dull. When is the BTCC on?

After much hype and anticipation, the race yesterday turned in to one of the biggest anti climaxes I've ever known. I turned it off and went out at about lap 32. Stopping refuelling appears to be a bit of an own goal, as everybody is now on the same fuel load for the full race, so they've managed to remove one of the few variables that 'promoted' overtaking.

Funny beacuse with the same fuel strategy and no tyre changes MotoGP is one of the best motor sports to watch.

If they stick with the current system then aero package and wash needs to be heavily looked at to encourage overtaking. IMO KERS was a great option as well, not only from a technological front but with some cars and not others having this also promoted overtaking.

So effectively thumbs up to everything that pomotes overtaking!

It was a poor poor show, I don't normally watch F1 but decided to as BBC coverage but ended up hoping for some adverts to liven it up a bit. Much prefer BTCC or the motorcycle racing.

As dull as dishwater. The new regulations will not promote more overtaking. The FIA are strangling F1. Roll on 11th April.

I thought Bernie's idea of having a shortcut on the track that drivers could use a certain number of times per race was a good idea.

Huge anti-climax though.

The MotoGP is leagues better as far as entertainment goes. I don't think I'll ever forget Catalunya 2009!

I'm just waiting for the Valencia tickets to come online and we'll be booking up a couple!
