Are there any? Apart from remap that isn't available right now....

Have you spoken to MRC? I thought they had a solution for this car already? I would guess gutting the pre-cat would help too!

They can remap but cannot "flash" the chip, something to do with protocols and processor. I'm sure they be along shortly to correct me....

A guy over on RS6.com had this done last year but he seems to have disappeared so not sure about impressions/reliability etc

MTM is a piggyback, currently no one can flash the ECU on the B8 S4 unfortunately, which is why, for now, we won't be offering anything until we manage to crack the ECU.

Anyone know of the reliability of potential remaps/piggyback in terms of whether the block can handle it? I read that the gains are fairly substantial (>400bhp) so I'd wonder if it would last.

There's a lot of speculation on the US forums that Audi have substantially understated the stock power, in which case the gains are not as much as they seem. I can't find any posts from anyone who's had the tune long term unfortunately, as I've been tempted myself but am in this car for the long haul, and am also interested in reliability.

There is a Article in this months Audi driver .. They fit a milltek and a MTM tuning box with dyno plots before and after ...
