Advice required on value
In December 2000 I took delivery of UK RS4 B5 Car no.93. I joined a group of around 25-30 minded RS4 fanatics. I eventually sold my original B5 RS4 at the end of 2003 and took delivery of one of the first B7 RS4 estates which I sold at the beginning of 2008. I then bought UK B5 RS4 car no.97 off 'the other' Phil in June 2008 who had run it since new. (the other Phil! for those that remember Brands Hatch)
I have run the car since June 2008 and it is still gorgeous, but I am going to need to change it in the next few months and I really don't know what it's worth. It is Avus with High tech, and carbon 130K full Audi history follwed by MTM history, hard wheels, navi plus with cd multi, replacement turbos and cams under Audi warranty in 2004 and 2005. MTM cambelt service plus lots and lots of bits and pieces in July 2009. Revo 420 remap in 2004. Great condition inside and out.
I've seen prices from 12,000 to 15,000, what do people think it's worth?

RE: Advice required on value
Depends on the condition of the vehicle really, it's classed as a high miler but as has been said lots on here if it's in good condition then mileage should not put you off. Has it had it's cams checked for wear?
It sounds like it's in fine fettle so with that in mind you could try marketing it at 12,995 or somewhere in that region. There are a few of them for sale at the moment so there's alot of choice for buyers.....
Good luck with the sale, what exactly does one replace a B5 with? It's pretty hard to take the place of one really!

Yeah agree with Contigo. The mileage will be prices down a tad, not that it's a bad car, but will put some people off. However I know of some cars with that sort of mileage on them, and you'd never know it...
Maybe a tad higher, a punt at £14k if you're not in a hurry, but £13 is probably more realistic as mentioned.
re the history, it won't make any difference to a) it's value and b) it's desirability. Unless of course it was Nr 1 or the last one off the line...

B5 S4 Saloon Widebody Track Car.
B5 RS4 - now sold.
B5 RS4 - now sold.
The last 4 digits of your chassis number is about as close as you will get to the build number, given that they all start the same.
So far I've not come across any that do not conform to this. You will need to contact Audi Germany to get the actual build date.

Vehicle build numbers
The only way that the original owners of the B5's knew the build numbers was in the original confirmation letter that Audi sent out after we ordered the cars. I have the one that was sent to Phil (for the car I now own), and I passed the one i got for my car on to the dealership when they bought it back off me (they probably binned it!)
We also all swapped notes in the weeks running up to the delivery of the first cars in terms of finding out the build week schedules for our cars. Sad by true
I know now, but about 25-30 of the first 150 car owners were on the original forum swapped notes and got updates from friendly dealers and in one case a German insider (where are you now Nordelschlief?) regarding the progress ont he production line.
