What I don't get with the E92 test is on every independent video drag I've seen the M3 is noticably quicker In a straight line than the RS4, even without the new, excellent & quicker still DCT box.

The RS4's party piece isn't striaght line acelleration but it's alround excellence across all areas :)
Ill bet you there are two or three people who wouldnt agree the E92 M3 is quicker in a straght line, i for one have had one in a straght line on the m way

My car has always produced the characteristic dyno plot with its kink above 5500rpm but nevertheless mine was found to be corroded at AVS2 and was replaced under warranty.

Obviously if this flap does not open, the dyno plot will be relatively flat above 5500rpm.
..I was lubing my flap up last week (I like to lube flaps :P ), it wont hurt, recommend you guys do it too.

Sooooo pros and cons of removing the power flap? Caldy I think has done this.

I was there and the day was really good, the cars that had their times posted in the video had Known problems and i know they have had there cars fixed.
Looks to me that the person who put the video up is trying to make out the RS4 is poor on power which is untrue.
Its a shame it doesn't show all the times. My RS4 is shown going on the rollers RS04 PJA and got 378 which i was well pleased at,
We all know that the RS4 does not show 414 on a RR.

Take open the air box, and at the front, you will feel the butterfly valve, you can move it, mine did feel stiff, I drop of WD40 on the hinges and it moved fine. just don't over do it with the "lube".

I suppose you could take the airbox out and give it a good clean, but its really a 10 minute job in situ
