some more contenders

Post by andyleeds » Wed Feb 17, 2010 6:37 pm

thoughts on a couple of suspects...

http://www.wool-bovington.co.uk/vehiclesframe.asp

spoke to the bloke on this, apparently taking in exchange on an Smax! he said that the seats are a little discoloured as they are heated? has anyone ever heard of this?

http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/1503923.htm

this one i think belonged to a chap on here called trevor? its from NI and looks very similar to the one that he had, its being put on british plates, is that a problem?

http://www.marcusfothergill.co.uk the one at fothergill checks out with the powerupgrade, but not sure about what an upgrade in power does to the box? maybe this is the reason it had a new one? also he's put the price up by a grand to fit h&r's........

if anyone has any other ideas let me know.....

530bhp on number 3? Looks like its on standard exhaust so thats unlikely. Also, why go to the effort of modding the engine so much and not doing the suspension? Wrong way round if you ask me.

Number 1 is a clean car. Ive seen it down this way afew times and it looks like its been well kept. Not sure about the leather though. Might just need a good cream session.

Don't we all.

The discolouration isn't likely to come from the heated seats. Unless it's from the sweaty bums they cause!

The 2nd ad says "Comes with new H & R coilovers fitted" but I can only assume that they haven't been yet because the car is riding so high.

They all look good. I wouldn't personally buy a modd'd car, but that's just me.
