The Maestro. The greatest irony there EVER was. WHY was the steering wheel square? Why did it feel it needed to talk to you? Why was everything it said total bollocks?! Why did it never start? Why did it stall constantly when cold? Why did I bother with it?!?!?! Ah yes, cheap. Free actually. Still not worth it.

Rover 25 (or 214 or whatever).... the pinnacle of crapness.

There are worse cars out there than that - try driving an old rover metro or maestro or montego.

True, there are many worse cars if you go back a few years but IMO it is pretty much unforgiveable that some modern cars are of such a low standard when the technology to make them at least average is now so relatively cheap.

US Spec Ford Taurus, and an older US Spec Explorer. Both of them SUX'ed big time for going around bends.

The best car I've owned for going around corners, and I do say owned, is my old, and now the wifes, 2001 A4 1.8T TQM 180 Sport MTM with Gmbh suspension + other goodies.

Best car i've driven, was a 2001 996 Turbo, on a small race track with our countries best Porche race driver alongside me saying "go on give it stick!"
2014 RS6 (2023 on order)
2017 Q7
1993 E36 M3 Tarmac Rally car
2001 Porsche Boxster circuit car

Montego Turbo.... perhaps the most dangerous car ever made?? for its time loads of power through only 2 wheels. Try keepin this is a straight line when giving it some. Many to be found rotting in hedges

I think the Maestro Turbo was probably worse than the Montego. It had a much shorter wheelbase and felt much more topheavy, so with all that hanging on grimly as it wailed down the road in a wayward fashion, it had the added bonus of twitching around like crazy at every bump, and constantly felt like it was going to roll over when cornering. Fantastic brakes too! Solid discs on the front which faded before you even noticed they worked, then if you REALLY rammed them they'd lock up straight away. Not even sure there were rear brakes!!! Awful, awful car. Swift though, if you could find one that hadn't rusted away.

I've owned two different Imprezas in the past and the dealers were usually superb especially Lucas of Mansfield, but there was one occasion when they screwed up my courtesy car and i ended up with a Subaru Justy - should be called the Subaru Nasty.

The worst car I have driven would have to be an Austin 1800.

only saving grace was the front bench seat.

Capri 2.0S. Handled like a water bed and would'nt pull the skin of a rice pudding
Engine smoked more than Ronney Woods and a slow greyhound would have beat it.
It commited suicide in the end when I parked it up to a wall and went straight through it (fecking long bonnets)
Never again what a pile of <beep>

We have a Fiat Panda - its not sh1t at all - its just special! Ok so our's is a year-old 4x4 one but it's still unbeatable in the snow.

Worst car? Easy! My driving instructer had a Proton Aeroback 1.5......bits used to fall off as you drove along. Oh and I also once drove a diesel Escort that was quite dreadful.
Former Audi owner. Thinking about getting another.

Alfasud Sprint. It had a bucket of sand in the tank so when it went around corners it just cut out. When we got that sorted the fanbelt shredded and flung bits into the front of the engine causing the cam belt to jump. Pistons damaged and valves bent meant a new engine which we picked up from a breakers.

When we sold it (traded it in against a new Fiat Uno - yummy) I swear the only thing holding the bodywork together was the (white) paint (it had had a few coats).

What a treat.

A-reg Ford Fiesta Diesel. Just got a lift in it. Body roll I've not experienced on land before. You could drive past a chieftain tank and the guys in that would complain about the amount of noise YOU'RE making. Interesting starting cycle-turn key half way, full throttle, turn key fully, pump throttle pedal to buggery until loud bang and rumble heard, accompanied by customary cloud of black smoke. All this combined with zero acceleration, no grip, no brakes, rotting interior, rusty panels, lots of leaks (to the point I commented on the fact I found a dry part of the floor), and general nastiness. Legendary

Diesel escorts are not dreadful at all.
I have 10 of them and my encore GLX will blow your panda quattro in the weeds any day.

Yugo 45. Drove it when my brother's Lancer Turbo (remember those) went for a service. You could not tell from the steering wheel or pedals what it was doing !
