Love the air system - done by MRC I think you said in an earlier post. As a matter of interest what do you reckon your beast with WI and the full bore Milltek is putting out? And how much roughly was the WI and the air intake mods??

Dave
The intake system is my own. I made it in a hurry, hence the pish Carbon....

Not sure on power. From memory, Doug reckoned about 650lb/ft. Right at the limit of what the box will take.

Stay tuned my friends. In all humility, I am about to install a set of vents that will (as I think y'all say over there) look the dogs.

Check back toward the end of the year.

Why would you want to force feed a turbo? Also forced air through a 90° bend just before a MAF sensor cant be good for accuracy because of the turbulance created?

headshot over on rs6 international has an excellent sticky for installing some nice looking vents similar in style to the SL 65 AMG vents.

Look pretty subtle and the installation has design features to keep the rain out from under the bonnet (hood to our over the pond colleagues).

I am tossing up whether to install the headshot style vent or louvres like on an e type jaguar I have- the original cool louvre style.

Only problem is on the e type, when it is raining cats and dogs and you stop suddenly you get a nice plume of steam as the rain sloshes off the bonnet through the louvres onto the hot exhaust manifolds.

The water under the bonnet doesn't affect the e type electrics as they are taken care of by Lucas "the inventor of darkness", but I dont really want to try the effect of dumping water into the under bonnet electronics of the RS6 to see what happens.

Re: Headshot's front splitter. Does anyone know where I can find one? I'd like a closer look, it can't be standard, right?

Yup, just found his older posts... damn Kiwis, brilliant at rugby and making their '6s look 'one o kind'... and they've choked at every RWC since '87, what a terrible shame *cough*.
