p/x assuming excellent condition is £28.5k

it doesnt list retail, but id say £31.5k - £32k, therefore private sale £29.5k ??

David, what's the book on a 2006 '06 Avant with 61000? Was around the 24 mark the last time I looked.

I know the spec doesn't make much difference.

You found my SD cards yet?

Not a bad price for a Audi dealer.

Is it me? or are the prices of avants, saloons and even cabs closing in on each other. When I was looking at first, the price diff from a saloon to a van (I mean avant) was nearly 3k. It definately isn't that now.
Don't get me wrong, I realise the avant are still worth more - the reason I chose a saloon wasn't cost, was because previous S4 was avant and fancied a change.

Anyone else noticed the closing in on retail prices??

yeah cabs have come down massively...mostly becausee they hava rep for being wobbly as jelly and heavy as hell

Saloons and avants...thing is, althou the RS avant is iconic, the RS4 brought alot of people to the RS marque who dont buy into the avant heritage (bmw ppl)

So all down to demand

Cab should be holding out better than it is but lets be honest if they dont handle that well why spend a stack more on the rs4 version? On a like for like basis i would say the avant holds more than its origonal price difference of £1.5k.Obviously keeping an eye on the second largest purchase that mosty people make has recently unveiled a fair few highish milers coming onto the market (3yr lease up) and the condition of individual cars is starting to widen as usual when cars get older,in particular some very worn/uncared for seats etc and im sure physical inspection of the rest of the vehicle would be no better, none of this is anything new though as cars get older, some stay well looked after and like new, others to some are just a car and arent bothered about wrecking seats getting in and out etc.The last time i looked @ glasses there was a fair difference in price between saloon/avant but that was a few months ago before i blew my spare cash on property
