hi rob hows the dtm ? i have bought short term s4 53 plate to run around in . and have the same problem with the radio, i asked a dealer same question he said on back of radio unit, i will check this out today and let you know

DTM is great. On the Saloon A4 it is by the rear window. There is a panel on the roof lining by the rear window that snaps off. The amplifier sits up there, loads of wires in and out...

So where is the amplifier on the C5 RS6 Avant? Think mine's up the spout..

In the Avant, it's behind the trim to the right of the CD changer.

In the saloon it's begind the C/D pillar trim (left side).
