how much for a r8 07 plate ?

Post by vroomvroom » Fri Jan 01, 2010 10:23 pm

Hi
Anyone know what the realistic prices for used v8 r8 are (anyone seen any go through auctions recently or traded one in)

I was hoping to get a 07, mag dampers, manual with less than 20k miles for early to mid £50’s – am I being unrealistic? Seem to be a few retail cars that match my criteria for late £50’s so I am guessing trade must have paid very early £50’s for them.

Thanks

Ps any other recommended forums for R8 information?

I may be talking complete b******s, but as the first R8s hit the showrooms in mid 07, it may be worth waiting a few months until owners start chopping them in as the warranties run out. This may force down the prices across the board. You may have a better chance then.

Looks like most sellers still holding out for very late £50’s – so as suggested might be best to wait for a couple of months

With the rs4 and now the r8 it looks like Audi have really managed to stem their old deprecation issues.

Both the R8 and RS4 have out performed (from a retained value point of view) the equivalent BMW and Porsches

If you had asked most people 3 years a go what a r8 or rs4 would have been worth once 3 years old the answer would have been no more than 50% of list, yet both are will into mid 60%

I've seen a few at £55k now but most still seem to be higher 50's.
