Colour good.
Bluetooth kit, Folding mirrors, Black leather, Black optics also good.
I like carbon trim and a load safety net is useful.
Cam belt done, DRC recently done, Good.
Miltek cat back (nice).
Never tracked or mapped (if You believe this) Good.
RNS-D not so good (and TV will not work for long due to death of analogue).
And it may need disks soon as they were last done 10,000 miles ago.
I think its a good un and if it is as advertised then I dont think its too overpriced but as mentioned it will depend on the warranty situation.
I would offer £20,000 cash although it doesnt look like He's exactly in a rush to sell !

as opposed to 20,000 hobnobs ?!?
sorry mate, not having a pop, its just funny how people still throw that "cash" argument into an offer in as if it means something, i know as I recently had to sell me car
No David, 20,000 chocolate raisins much better currency ! (LOL)!
But cash can make things so much simpler (so long as You don't get jumped for it or its not forged !)
I just bought an R32 Golf as a private sale (so much cheaper than the d(st)ealerships) and the paranioa levels on My part (and the seller) were sky high, we were both worried that the other party was going to try to pull a fast one.
From a sellers point of view paying by Bankers Draught is not really safe either as even the banks can't really tell if the cheque is a good one when You pay it in and I have heard of stolen ones being used to pay for cars being paid into banks and the keys and documents being handed over and the seller thinks everythings cool until the bank ring to say the cheque's a dud and bad luck, no cash no car.......
Otherwise You should wait until the B.D. clears and then the seller has Your cash but You dont have the car !
I ended up paying with a bankers draught for 2/3rds of the price and paid the rest in cash.

Hey Stumpy whats wrong with cash I would be happy to take £20,000 in cash for a car and have done (althought it was from someone I knew anyway).
See My comments above about Bankers Draughts.
If You pay some one by Personal Cheque and wait for it to clear how do You know they'll give You the keys ?
It does happen !
And Electronic transfers can happen from Bank accounts that don't belong to the purchaser.

If it was a complete stranger, and most of the time it is right? What';s to say it's real money? And not forged. Wouldn't risk it, not expect a reduction of the price just because it's cash either. Most garages wont accept that sort of amount these days either.

I did mention the possibility of forgeries and it is possible to check using various methods.
If I was buying from a dealers then I wouldn't want to pay cash and even though most of them are robbing ba$tards I think I could trust them with a Cheque or a transfer !
I paid for a big chunk of My 6 on the Visa card !
Hey if I was really paranoid then You could worry about paying a dealer by cheque, the money could go into their account, they go bust You've paid for the car but they are in administration.
This has been know to happen too !
But hey lets not worry about it ! Its not My car or Your were discussing is it ? Maybe I should ring the Geezer up and see if He would be happy to take £20,000 in Cash for it ! LOL!

David You're so right and life would be so much better if a Mans word was his bond.
The chap who bought Your Car had discussed it with You via this forum I believe so Your reputation here would have helped.
Would You have transfered such a large sum of money to someone You dont really know and waited for the keys and Docs ?
I would have been reluctant to do that but thats just me.

With FastPay most account transfers under £10,000 will go through in less than five minutes anyway. When I bought my '6 I did an online transfer (half from my account and half from the wife's) from my laptop in front of the seller. They checked their account online, money had gone through, deal done. All very Hollywood.
When buying from a dealer, I would always use a credit card (for the extra level of insurance in case of problems) - if the credit limit won't cover it most companies will give you a temporary increase or you can always transfer a credit balance onto the card.
All that said, it is quite cool to walk around with a bag containing £20,000 in 20s or 50s... For private sales you tend to know where the seller lives, which discourages them from walking away with the cash and the car...
