Re: RE: Whats it worth?
Yes i agree, I think its massively too cheap and its harming my sale and others just by being there! Admittedly its Avus which would affect things slightly (purely for the rarity value before anyone gets the 'ump) but I think that car could make 17k easily. Admittedly its xmas and he clearly NEEDS to sell or he would have waited until spring but even still, it sounds to me like a lot of car for the money.Contigo wrote:If yours is worth 18k then this guy is well underselling his.

I was offered £15K (which is what I advertised it for) a couple of months ago when I was selling my 95k mile RS4, however my circumstances following the agreement dictated I had to pull out of selling it.
My view is that examples in good condition, with a good history will command stronger money that anonymous car's turning up on Pistonheads\Auto-trader, which have very little provenance.
That £9K car is well below what I'd expect that car to sell for, and my gut feeling is at that money it's either a bit iffy, or the owner is desperate to sell (and I'd be asking why).
That said there will always be occasional exceptions to the rule, but with specialist cars like the RS4 being the 'fickle' cars they are, condition, service\maintenance history rather than mileage being should be the primary factor..... within reason.

Hello ,
Thank you for your interest in purchasing my car.
The vehicle is in good condition, has no technical damage at all, no scratches or dents,
no hidden defects, no smoking.
It's fun and robust to drive. Technical inspection and emissions testing is passed and
stamped as well. It has title of ownership, cleared of any obligations or fees and comes
with all the documents you need to register it. You will not have to pay additional taxes
for this.
Please feel free to email me with any questions you may have.
Thank you and have a nice day!
Hello ,
I have worked in UK for the last 1 year and I've purchased the car there. My company
wanted me back home, so currently I'm in Zaragoza,Spain. I've bring the car home with me. I
decided that is better to sell it because I don `t use it anymore (the wheel is on right
side and is very difficult for me to drive it in Spain) and it `s a pitty to keep such a
car and not to use it.If you would like to buy it there is no problem because i know a delivery company that can deliver anywhere in Europe, they are very cheap, i'm willing to pay the costs(they have also escrow service). The car will come with 5 Days Return Policy (in this 5 days you can check it and test it and in case you don't like it you can return it back on my cost).
I realize that is a cheap price for such a car but my special situation makes me do things
that I wouldn't do in normal Circumstances.
You will not have to pay additional taxes for this.So if you are still interested let me know you phone number so i can explain you or e-mail how we can do this transaction.

snap there hand off then, sorry but the dealer will be making on you both ends, hell make on the px and the sale, thats why they offer moreroi354 wrote:Just to update this, I have been offered £15k and £15.5k by separate dealers in p/ex with cars in their stock. So basically you're well off with your prices and this should sell easily in the spring for considerably more.
For anyone interested, this car will be on pistonheads at £17995 when the weather breaks.
Cheers,
Rob
