Gap at top of post

Post by MoRS6+ » Wed Dec 09, 2009 1:28 pm

Whenever I post anything, there is a gap - sort of like I've pressed enter about 3 times - and then my text appears. Can everyone see that or is it just me? This post should be like it as well.

What's going on?

I've now tried changing several things and it still does it. Unless of course it's only me that sees it?

You all must think I'm going crackers.

Right, found the problem - it was my avater causing it. Must have been too big because now I have removed it, my post no longer has the gap at the top.

I'm just gonna use a normal one from now on.

Even with the standard RS6 one, as you can see above, there is still the odd line inserted here and there. For example, on the very short replies above.

I'll put the 'Terminator Tx' avatar back and you'll see what I mean.

With no avatar, the post starts from the very first line and is normal.

Even with the standard 'RS6' avatar, there is still a gap at the start of the post.

See. look at my posts above now - massive gap.

Right, this is weird - it only does it in IE8 and Firefox. It does not do it in Chrome. If I completely remove my avatar, it doesn't do it. If I just select a board avatar such as the square RS6 one, then I have the same problem but with less of a gap at the top of the post.

Still, there are more important things in life..
