Guys, on the subject of Sat Nav DVD's have any of you had any issues ejecting your current Nav disk? reason I ask is I don't appear to be able to eject my Nav DVD from the head unit!! I open the screen and hold the eject button for a period of up to 1 min, but nothing happens
any ideas?? or is it going to mean another trip back to the dealer to get the head unit replaced??

Someone will answer more accurately, but I think that's the default factory setting. Can be changed by vagcom etc to allow you to eject DVD. Possibly should of been done as part of PDI? The more cynical might say it's so they can charge you x amount of labour for updating your DVD in the future!

DEFINITELY should have been done as part of the PDI.iana74 wrote:Possibly should of been done as part of PDI?
The DVDs are apparently locked in to prevent them getting stolen while the car is in transit from the factory to the dealer, but the dealer is expected to unlock the DVD.
Anyone with VAG-COM can do it in a few seconds, it's just a matter of changing the value in one adaptation channel.
