Alarm questions

Does anyones RS4 make an audible beep (alarm of/on) when opening and closing the doors. Mines doesn't - only flashes indicators and its a tad annoying. Always end up locking the car twice (especially in daylight).
Does VAGCOM allow this beep facility?
Stange as I'm sure my B6 S4 did do it.

Mine doesnt beep, and Im quite pleased it doesnt.
Cant help re vagcom, but Im sure someone will be along soon who does know.

mines beep when locked, US model.. i want to figure out how to make it use the horn when the alarms goes off.. that "beeping" is pathetically too low for an alarm.

Maybe have to ask Audi when it next gets MOTed. Basically want a beep for opening and double beep for closing - same as other VAG cars.

I'm sure it can be done, but I'm on the move at the moment. Have a look on the VagCom
Wiki. I think it's tha same channel as auto locking on the move etc.
