Just driven to Banbury and back to pick up some 'new shoes' for the 6 courtesy of a forum member - thank you very much!
It was a good journey, meeting up and playing with a caged 911 GT2 which handed me my ass on a plate (stupidly quick and im sure it was tuned). I reckon it was off to silverstone or somewhere as it was in a convoy with other porkers.
Got back and here are the results.

No shame losing to a GT2, be it 993, 996 or 997 - in unmolested form they're all bullets!

I did nail a 09 plate Carrera 4S on the way back so there was some consolation.

Just found the owner of the GT2 on the net. Turns out it was a GT2 Clubsport so no wonder i got whipped! 0-60 in 3.6 and 0-100 in 7.4s. Christ!
