Ended up with one also (Tdi) when my car was getting serviced - yep ! A dog. Sat Nav is better though.

Didn't get NAv, did get really annoying key that nearly got shoved through the dash!

Yep, much the same as most newish BWMs....pointless but then so is our start button. Keyless entry with the push start button would have been so much better.
Maybe on the next RS4??

I've got a VXR with that system on for during the week. It's a nice system. There's something about having a proper key for a proper car though if you know what I mean. I just enjoy flicking the key out, turning it and then pressing the button. I bit more involved which makes getting in the RS4 every weekend just that bit more satisfying.

Main plus to the keyless entry is that the keys live in your pocket and so can't jangle around when you're driving!
