Just made the Jump and purchased PSS9's for my 6!

Post by RS6Steve » Thu Nov 05, 2009 4:15 pm

After much reading of the forum's I finally ordered them today :D

Have I made the right choice?

H&R - Pehaps a little to hard and low?
KW v3 - Sound great but need a degree to set them up, plus can't adjust when fitted?
PSS9 - Seem to do everything, plus I can adjust them when fitted?

However they hurt the pocket!!!!!!!!!!!

Hoepfully not, I read the Sticky on it.

Does not seem too bad, but will put it into my local garage, they have looked after everything else I have ever owned and done a really good job.

Plus they have a roof and it's warm.....

Everyone I spoke to talked about Kw v3 or PSS9, Konigsport was never mentioned!

Maybe that becuase they don't make as much margin on them?

ditto, on my corrado too and very good. There basically KW V2's with a different sticker. I'd have bought them with in shot for my RS4 if i wasn't for the cracking deal i was offered on the PSS9's.

Another shout for Konigsport here - i have them on my B7 Avant and they're superb.

Comfortable and very controlled.

I'll definately be getting a set for my RS6.

Do the PSS9's perform that much better than the original Audi system ? I still have the originals, and find it too hard and bouncy...... and as I'm looking to be MRC'd, wanted some advice..... BTW, I will be running orignial C5 wheels (have a C5 model 6), will 275/30 19 Goodyear F1's...

From the research I did, they look quite a bit better. Obviously the ability to lower plus adjustable dampening when fittied, so you can change it to suit. Although I believe it a little alkward to get to the knob to change it?

No, they're very easy to adjust (damping setting). For the fronts, just put full lock on and you can adjust. For the rear, it's best to take the wheel off.

For height, just take the wheel off and adjust with the funny spanners that are supplied.
