Oh, mate. That's bad news. The third character has to be a C for Audi/Porsche.
Volcano Black 1995 RS2. Standard.

Gone - but understood to be alive and well and living in Cornwall.

I think it may be a conversion. Engine trans and others correct. That's how I got dupped.

Sounds very basic (like my knowledge of mechanics) but what did it state on the log book? Wouldn't it be identified as an S2 on there? Hard to believe that someone would be this crafty try and sell this as an RS2 if it was a conversion but I guess there are a lot of scumbags out there

Also where was the car originally advertised? I would try and get a hard copy of the ad (if you don't have already) to prove that it was being sold as an RS2 and not an S2.

If it was Pistonheads then maybe you can contact them to get hold of the online ad if it has been removed?

Just a thought

How much does this effect the price, all other things being equal All other bits are correct for RS2. I paid 9500 eruo. Thats about 15000 US dollars. This car has some brake issues.

Take a look at Piston Heads theres a S2 avant with RS2 spec that will give you some idea of value against genuine RS2s. I hope this wasnt sold to you as an RS2 or was it?
RS2 s yep ive had a few... it started with a Brilliant Black lhd then a Polar Silver and finally an RS Blau.
