RS4 B5 ENGINE PROBLEM

HI MY RS4 ENGINE DESTROED...AT ALL .THE RODS ARE BENDET AND THE CRANKSHAFT AT SIX CYL ...DESTROED .
THE DIFERENCES BETWEEN THE S4 AND RS4 ENGINE EXCEPT THE HEADS
? I ASK BECAUSE ITS EASY FOR ME TO BUY AN S4 ENGINE AND PUT THE TURBOS INLLETS E.T.C FROM RS4 ENGINE.
THE CRANKSHAFT IS THE SAME?THE CON RODS ? CYLINDER BLOCK????

IT IS NOT EASY TO FOUND AN ASJ ENGINE

Lots different between S4 and RS4 engine...

Sorry to hear this Xristos, how did it happen so we can make sure it doesn't happen to us?

As Mikey rightly says they are v. different

I have always wondered how many RS4s have S4 blocks/heads nowadays

Xristos, if you did fit an S4 engine, you could easily get it remapped to 400bhp with your RS4 parts.

Were your turbos undamaged?
