I like them also. I personally think the Q7 is just too BIG, so a 3.0 should be good in the Q5.

Hi Ken, Audi lent me a Q7 to go on holliday with when my 6 was in dock. Great car, feels much smaller than it is on the open road, very sporty really, but try and get it in a multi storey car park and it's just murder! The Q5 looks a great car to me but I haven't driven one yet. If it has the same power output as the 3 litre in the Q7 it should go like stink!

Cheers

Really should venture from the RS rooms every now & again :D

Got a brand new Ibis White Q5 2.0 TFSI S-Line S-Tronic a couple of weeks ago & think it's a fantastic car. Is fully loaded with all the toys including the 20" Wheels, B&O Sounds & Panoramic Roof. Engine pulls very well with 211PS & seems to be well mated with the 7 speed S-Tronic.

Economy is not as good as i'd hoped for as this car will be the workhorse alongside for the time being my B7 RS4. Hoping the economy will improve as the engine & gearbox loosen up a little. Defo a keeper.

Audi makes a nice product but gets little support from a very unknowledgable group of dealers. Had a very bad experience in 04 and will never return!

Any obvious ideas why. My RS4 average is still 21.3 & that's over many thousands of miles.

Can't work out why it's not in the low 30's as the car is not been driven hard, the S-Tronic box likes to jump up the gears so over 40 it's almost always already in 7th & even i'm taking it easy.

As above i just hope it's a quirk of the engine/gearbox being tight until the miles pile on. It's got a 75 litre tank & on;ly getting around 400 miles so far.

Dunno. Of the 1200 miles a lot was a run to and from Cornwall which the DIS said gave 30mpg but it seems to have been about 26. That's ok since we were loaded, had a roof box on and cruise was set to 85.

It seems the Mrs using it for the nursery run is not helping the average at all. Since the 3 month old is in the car it's certainly not being ragged and she often follows the Eco change indicators.
