£20k+ B5's
RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: £20k+ B5
Agree, these cars are superb and i have had mine over three and a half years. Loved every minute of it. 21 track days to boot and pick up the kids and shopping on the way home and blend into the traffic!
I aint changing and I am happy with the current set up.

cost more to maintain - if you discount DRC, i dont agreestumpy67 wrote:
An RS6 for sure, but cost more to maintain (generally, before someone starts having a pop!), but RS4's look harder and meaner than RS6's (don't start arguing !), are rarer, and FASTER...
There I said it, oh no...
RS4's look harder and meaner than RS6's - agree avant vs. avant, but my '6 saloon in Darth black is pretty mean
Are rarer - agree
FASTER - disagree straight line, agree if you introduce a bend !
RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: £20k+ B5
Cost more to maintain, I'd say not if they are both running well but tyres, fuel and other runnings costs like service are more in the 6 and that's just a fact I'm afraid.
With worries like DRC and gearbox problems they are more of a liability for me but then that said the RS4 has gearbox (early cars) and Cam wear problems so it's swings and roundabouts.
For me the 4 wins it in both looks, rarity and also the appeal of having a manual box with 400 horses, there are not many other motors outt here with a box that can take that and that's why I love it! The tiptronic box on the 6 is nowhere near as much fun on both the road and track.

Love a new C6 Avant for refinedness and technology. Maybe in a few years when they have dropped a bit more
