finally - i'm an RS6 owner...!

Post by batty » Tue Oct 13, 2009 6:45 am

I've been reading, researching and dreaming about an RS6 for 3 years and finally i picked up the beast last night.

all i can say is WOW..!!

i bought it from deanobeano and its a silver plus. absolutely fantastic condition, and it would be an understatement to say it goes well too..!!

the drive home last night was very restrained except for a spurt or 2 from roundabouts on roads i know.

looking forward to reading the owners manual, and particularly the satnav (was lost a couple of times last night trying to get used to everything).

i'd like to thank the guys on this forum for giving me the info, experiences and confidence for me to eventually own one of these magnificent beasts.

Welcome to the fold! I have a silver Plus too! Had it from new and no intention of changing it for a while. Still gives me a grin to hear the V8

Enjoy.

the full warranty is a great confidence boost when buying such a complex beast, and i intend making full use of it..!!
i like the silver since it is a stealth colour, if an RS6 can ever be stealthy, that is...

hehe, the only other car you could compare the stealthiness of an RS6 against would be another RS6!

Poor Deano - he'll be gutted to see it go, but I'm pleased it went to an enthusiast :)

Welcome along mate, you'll love it.

Was very enjoyable leaving for work this morning at 5-45am.

The sound of the V8 in the confines of the garage was superb.

Not sure the wife & kiddies were quite so chuffed. oops...

or the neighbours.....
