Never more than 25mm, usually 22-23mm. All depending on individual cars and the tolerance percentage of the spring compression. This is why quattro gmbh state 20-25mm in their technical documentation.

I think John Roberts had a set for sale

THe set costs around £700-800 I think and the installation is about £250

Both Quatrro Sport and AmD offer it fittee, just not sure on exact cost, somewhere around £1000 i guess

Deinitely one of the best mods i have done to the car

Hi, If you wanna see how Quattro Sports suspension look like on the car have a look at my gallery. I think it is approx. 15 mm lower. This also stated in Quattro GmbH official documents. I have only Swiss part numbers.

What do you guys think, is it worth the upgrade? Is the car going to bottom out all the time? Will it handle potholes and my 42psi tyre pressures?

Hi Dog

The QS suspension really firms up ride quality. I love it, and have suffered no grounding yet. The springs should compress less under load. I run at 40psi all round.

If the roads around your part of the world really are dreadful, then for reasons purely of your own comfort, this modification may not be advisable. Also I cannot possibly think that if you already are bending plenty of standard rims, that this is going to help matters.

Cheers

dog. Without doubt the best upgrade you can do...period.

Transform handling, turn in and doesn't affect ride at all.

Make sure you get someone with laser 4 wheel alighnment to fit it (AMD and most others like QS should have this).

Beg to differ, Thorney. After putting in 30,000 miles on standard suspension and only having recently made the change I would have to say that now the vehicle rides much more firmly.

Perhaps it is amplifying the effects of my decidedly non standard rims and tyres though.
