Misfire after milltek fitted

Post by xyber » Thu Oct 08, 2009 6:03 pm

Had a full milltek fitted today, on the way home the CEL flickered then stopped. Scanned it when I got home and it showed a random misfire code and missfire on cyl 6.

Anyone had this before? Could it just be settling in or does it need a remap or something which I have planned

thanks

Don't know if it's a side effect of the freer revving engine or just a coincidence but a coilpack failed. Very annoying

I think you cancls the coil packs as a consumable! I've got a spare just in case.

Did the garage have to remove any plugs when fitting the exhaust to gain access?

Porsche Macan Turbo.
