Sorry to hear about this. Awful news.

Do you know if the cambelt work had been done before it was taken?

Doug is the one who called the old bill, so surely the "trying to get hold of Doug" must have been a misunderstanding. The business is insured properly, but even then, what happened does suck big time. That's all I can say so far.

Lets see what news i get tmrw, as i am in london its very difficult for me to check out the area.

The car is a misano red, lowered to the floor running BBS RC II 19's with the RS4 b7 front break set-up. Cant miss it.
As the car has been de-catted its very loud, and to be honest whoevers knicked it has probably thrashed the crap out of it!

Where MRC is based, the industrial area is full of some interesting people, if you know what i mean. Theres a breakers yard next to them with some strange people that go in and out of.... Either its gone and stripped for parts or it will be thrashed and found!

I still cant believe this, where are you supposed to keep your cars in an underground bunker!

I was also told that they found a tracker unit that was disarmed and chucked on the scene, the CID are still waiting to see if the seriel numbers match up with mine.

Havent heard from Doug either, niether has CID they said they cant get hold of him.

One was a S3 the other was an S2.

really sorry to hear this news mate, by the sounds of it if they're disarming trackers and stuff they're clued up and have been stolen to order, i think you'd prefer not to get it back now i know i wouldnt, i just hope you can come to some kind of agreement for the insurance valuation to cover some of the money you have put into it

Nightmare.
My heart goes out to Doug, Mihnea and the rest of the crew, and of course to Red Rocket and the S3 owner - I presume the S2 was Doug's?
I only picked my RS up from Banbury on Thursday evening so feeling a bit weird myself.
Here's hoping for a speedy resolution - with any luck the new unit with its secure parking will go some way to preventing this kind of thing happening again.
Maybe a resident Rottweiler would come in handy too.
Nothing feels fast for long... :(

I am gutted too for what happened, I could easily see myself losing it over such a thing if it happened to me, but seriously, implying that our workshop is in a dodgy area is absolutely unfair...

I am a bit upset rite now and clearly have said something that i dont mean,i feel gutted to loose my pride and joy that i have owned for 6 years now.
So i do apologise if anything wrong was said about the area that MRC is located.

really shocked to hear of this earlier today.

hope your cars are recovered asap with minimal damage or better still if the keys where available. Being stolen from inside the workshops then do MRC leave keys in the vehicles overnight?

what about cctv coverage in that ind est ????

sorry to hear of this guys, its sickening what some people do to others.

whats the story with Doug in Belguim?
