new to the forum, just a bit curious, has anyone tried to modify the neuspeed cat-back exhaust for the B7 S4 to fit the RS4? Ive heard of guys aspiring to fit it to their s5's, but would it be possible for the RS4? seems as if it would be easy, am i wrong? any input appreciated

Well personally, it's my choice of sound if I even touch the exhaust. I have even thought of just getting mufflers, but i really am having a hard time touching anything on the car, because blowing $3k on pipe isn't worth it with having my higher risk of needing standard maintenance due to my type and amount of driving

THe fabricator I use reckons he should be able to cut off the rear pipe section from the OEM back box inclusive of the actuators and tips and mate them to a new back box if I ever want tjust a cat back system. However all said the OEM back boxes are pretty resilient, to improve noise you would be better with an x-pipe and new air filter first, if that is still too quiet than madify your down pipes. Changing the cats is pretty easy and won't throw up fault codes if done properly.

Replacing the OEM 4 cat system with 2x 200 CPSI cats wil not increase emmissions more then 10% above OEM readings if that.
