slight part throttle missfire

Post by missmouse » Tue Sep 15, 2009 11:07 pm

I sometimes get a slight missfire or hesitation when I accelerate off boost at part throttle between 3k & 4k revs.
Fitted new plugs.
The maf has been changed a couple of years ago (alledgedly!)
On full boot the car goes like f**K!
Also it doesnt do this all the time.

Any ideas? :?

Mine was doing this a while back and a new lambda sensor cured it although believe can be other causes.

is there a way to check this using vagcom? Are there 2 lambda probes on the rs4?

For possible causes, use search function with "hesitation"... that is if not yet already done.

Four lambda's on RS4. Do a check with vagcom for fault codes first.
